Mission, Vision, Values

We are tired of 'status quo' Christianity.

We want to trust God for more. We want to live in expectant faith that God will use us in significant ways to reach every college student in this city for His glory alone.

We want to be faithful to the Great Command: Love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind. Love others as we would love ourselves. We want to be faithful to the Great Commission: People who go, who are sent. We want to make disciples everywhere.

* We want to Love God, love people, love the lost.
* We want our foundation to be based on prayer: persistent and continuous, powerful and effective.
* We want all of our strength and power and guidance to come from the Holy Sprit. Not ourselves.
* We want the Bible to be our central guide. We trust that it’s words will correct, rebuke, exhort, and train in righteousness.

About Jesus

Without Jesus always at our center, we are like a boat that has drifted out to sea without an anchor. He is our life, our purpose-giver, our Savior, our friend. We want to entrust ourselves to Him without reserve. We trust that Jesus will transform lives wherever the Gospel goes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to turn lost students into Christ-centered laborers.

* We pray for lost people regularly and specifically
* We spend significant time with lost people
* We bless lost people by serving and caring for their needs
* We are always looking for opportunities to share Christ with the lost
* We want to be faithful to the task of raising up Christ-centered laborers
* We model a lifestyle of mission
* we teach and train believers to be obedient followers of Christ
* We fervently ask God to raise up new laborers to be sent into the harvest

Our Methods

* We share the Gospel regularly, in word and deed
* We focus on simple, easily reproducible methods which can be transferred to others with ease
* We strive for spiritual multiplication, not addition
* We ‘go’ to the lost, not waiting for them to ‘come to us.’
* Leaders are trained and discipled. Leaders hold themselves accountable to one another in love
* Leaders are required to be a part of a local church fellowship outside of our group

We pray about everything
* We seek to be filled, directed, and empowered by the Holy Spirit in all we do.
* We use conferences, retreats, and summer projects to cast vision, align, and train

we measure not on numbers, but impact
* We are staff led/coached and student directed
* We hold loosely to our structures and models, willing to adapt and change in order to be most faithful to our mission.
